Summer Farm Camp Preschool Mommy and Me

(or any caregiver)

parent participation for preschool-age children!

Monday and Wednesday mornings from 9:00-11:00 am.

Beginning July 22 through August 28.

This is Part Two of our summer program.

Black board with the pre school schedule written on it.

Welcome to Tammy's Ranch!! My name is Tammy Baehr and I am a credentialed teacher and a mom of four kids. I will open my home classroom and farm to a small group of preschoolers and their caregivers. This is not a drop-off program. We believe that parents are the most important influence on a child’s growth and development and this is a place where both parents and children can develop together. Parents’ contribution of time and energy are key to creating the best possible early childhood experiences for their children. We will focus on your child's social, emotional, and educational development through art, singing, and hands-on farm experiences with little friends. There will also be a sandbox talk/parenting component where we discuss a new topic every week and parents can bond through common experiences!

My goal is that you and your child have a magical, memorable, and special experience. We will explore and eat out of organic gardens and an orchard, kiss llamas, pet goats, hold chickens, collect eggs, hold baby bunnies, go on a tractor ride, and experience miniature and big horses up close among other creatures. We have a worm farm too! There is a fenced-in play area and snack area where children can run and play.

"I  haven't had this much fun in a long time and now I have a new BFF: Foxy the baby llama. She is so gentle and loves to give kisses––and I loved getting them! I am making Tammy's Ranch a destination for my family and visiting friends just

so I can visit Foxy

and all her friends, often."

“We had the best morning visiting Tammy’s ranch! Tammy is a credentialed teacher, and it shows by the sweet way she interacts with the children and explains things to them. My daughter had a blast checking out all of Tammy’s animals, but the baby llama was her favorite! Thank you for a fabulous morning, Tammy!”
